In June 2003, SIGMA INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION decided to reestablish its activities in Iraq. Not only the potential and the opportunities were great but it meant a lot to us to start rebuilding the country and bringing people back to work. We knew and we know we are at risk but if we are not able to fulfill the job who will ? We have the responsibility to create work and get the country back on its feet.
The fall of the previous regime brought hope to a new generation and we are not allowed to disappoint them. Our mission is to rebuild not only the country but also its civil society. For that purpose we are hiring and training local personnel to respond to the needs of a modernized Iraq.
We are developing and expanding our business activities in Kurdistan and Abu Dhabi. We want to become one of the leading companies in our fields of activities. Our involvement and our knowledge are in Construction, Engineering Consulting and Project Development but also Trading & Procurement, Heavy Equipment Rental but also Oil and Gas. We have the international experience to provide the international business practices and professionalism to our employees.
The task is huge, the infra structures need to be build or rehabilitated, people are looking to be employed and families need income.
